CDVL Appointment FAQs

How do I make an appointment with a CDVL Tutor?

The CDVL provides appointment scheduling through WCOnline. It is important to note that our WCOnline system is different than the CWS’ WCOnline system. (You will know which one you are using by the logo at the top).

If it is your first time using our WCOnline system, please register for an account. If it is not, please log in with the credentials you created. Please note that this login information is not tied to your single sign-on information.

We provide both In-Person and Virtual Tutoring appointments. Select the schedule type on the front page to be taken to that schedule. Select a time slot available and fill out the appointment form. You will receive an email confirming your appointment type and time.

In-Person Tutoring

In-Person appointments are encouraged for those who would like to use the center’s resources in person. At your appointment time, please visit the CDVL Tutoring Office and find your tutor waiting for you there.

Please note: according to CDC guidelines and McCain Library policies, we can only allow one client per tutoring appointment. Groups are encouraged to make a virtual tutoring appointment.

Virtual Tutoring

Virtual Tutoring appointments are conducted while you are in your own space. This is especially encouraged for group appointments as we currently only allow one client per appointment.

These appointments are done synchronously via a video or audio call sent to you by your appointment tutor via scottiemail. You may set a preference of method when making the appointment.

What COVID-19 restrictions exist in the CDVL?

Currently, the CDVL is open for Campus use during the Library’s open hours. This includes McCain G-11 large computer lab and McCain G-37 medium computer lab. Access to the CDVL and Library via keycard is determined by the campus guidelines

Another way to think of us is we assist with anything you might learn on a computer. Please direct all technical/hardware issues to ITSHELP@agnesscott.edu

For virtual appointments, please ensure that you have a strong internet connection and access to all programs you require assistance with. Also have prepared any and all material you would need assistance with (documents, audio files, etc) It is also required to have either if not both Audio and Video capabilities through your computer.

For in-person appointments, please either bring the device you have your project files/program on or be prepared to log into one of our computers with your appointment tutor.

Yes! We can assist you in resetting your password and what you can do in the future to help log in issues.

Visit https://agnesscott.mywconline.net and click on the “Register for an account” link on the log-in screen.  We also have a very short video that can walk you through the process.

PLEASE NOTE: Registering for an account via our WCOnline will not register you for an account via the CWS’ WCOnline. They are two separate systems.

All staff and faculty are asked to use our support request form when inquiring about a project or digital assignment.
