Hi, my name is Aminah Badmus! I’m majoring in Economics with a minor in Business Management. I am proficient in Canva, Final Cut Pro, and iMovie. I plan on developing and refining my skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. A fun fact about me is that I love music and use my free time to search for new sounds/music all the time.
I am a graduate student in the Writing and Digital Communication program and am schedule to finish my courses in December 2022. I am proficient in Mac apps, Canva, WordPress, Squarespace, the primary Social Media Platforms and Email Campaign Builders. I love to find ways to express creativity and tell stories through the digital world. Fun fact: I studied theater and film in my undergrad and trained as an actor!
Deih Sian is a junior and majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She is comfortable using WordPress and is currently learning to use other software such as Canva and Chemdraw. A fun fact about her is that she lives on an island.
Gabriela Rodriguez is in their junior year, pursuing a degree in Africana Studies, Sociology and a minor in Artificial Intelligence. She loves to design digital art and is an aspiring software engineer.
Jaqueline is a senior majoring in math-economics. She is proficient in audacity, wordpress, and web design. One fun fact is that she loves to read.
Nusrat is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Studio Art in the class of 2023. She loved tinkering with digital and graphic design with the hopes of transitioning into digital art one day. Outside of class, you’ll find her drawing and painting. She is currently proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Spark), WordPress/Elementor, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, HTML & CSS and hopes to tackle Java and Python.
Michaye McIlwain is a senior double majoring in Studio Art and Business Management. She currently pursues her love of design and photography through her own graphic design and photography businesses. Currently, she is fluent in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Adobe Draw, and WordPress and loves sharing the skills she’s learned and developed with others.
Percie Thompson is a senior majoring in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Political Science. Most of her time is consumed by caring for her vast collection of house plants, reading historical fiction, or sewing. She is proficient in Word Press, Canva, Procreate, Davinci Resolve 16, Audacity and Adobe Captivate. She is currently learning to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Armed with fun facts and quotes, she’s excited to help you with your next project.
With a background in educating and empowering students in the area of technology and leadership, I am thrilled to continue that service for the students and faculty of Agnes Scott College as Assistant Director of the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy (CDVL). As one of the founders of the CDVL, I have a love for website design and innovation. My role here involves teaching within the classroom and providing extra support for digital literacy and administration outside of the classroom. Having a long history in studio art also serves as an asset towards visual literacy, as well as my personal passion in design.
